About Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM): www.ism.ws

Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) is the leading supply management in the world. By executing and extending its mission through education, research, standards of excellence, influence building and information dissemination — including the renowned monthly ISM Report On Business® — ISM continues to extend the global impact of supply management.

ISM is a not-for-profit membership association serving more than 40,000 supply management professionals in 75 countries. ISM offers credentialing to professionals around the world with the Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) qualification. ISM is a member of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM).

DNA® is a Web-based tool for identifying the knowledge of procurement staff and creating a personal development profile (PDP) for each member of the team. ADR consultants develop the correct survey question set for each client company, creating a questionnaire that covers every area that applies. This non-threatening survey is delivered to individual desktops for each professional to take at his or her own pace and time using a unique login and password.

From its analysis of the survey results, ADR provides insights into team strengths and targeted training requirements, to avoid "one size fits all" learning. Each participant receives an individual competency profile and a targeted learning plan. For managers, ADR generates an assessment of the overall skill gaps within the company. This Business Progression Plan details skills gaps by geography and category specialty. ADR uses it to create an effective, targeted learning strategy for the whole purchasing organization.
